Solution
Working closely with Guitammer’s Gaming team and engineers, Ardent Blue developed a Windows Driver and Control panel to drive ButtKicker brand products with in-game vehicle behavior. The goal was a simple interface that generates rich, immersive effects that range from extremely subtle to intense by reading real-time telemetry from the physics state of the game.

HaptiConnect was written in C++ with Qt, telemetry is read and effects are generated in real-time, without any significant impact on CPU.
High Fidelity
We researched road vibration, vehicle vibration sources, and combined that with our game development experience to design the output. Guitammer worked directly with professional real world racers and leading sim racers for feedback, which we iterated on to ensure a realistic out-of-the-box experience.
